back to work

I spent the entire month away from my sewing machine, partly because my parents-in-law were visiting from the UK and partly because I have finally started to do something with my digital photos. You know, the thousands that live on your computer that never make it to the light of day except when showing them on my mac which is never as pleasurable as flipping through an album.
I've never been a scrapbooker partly because I have a simple minimalist style but I discovered Paislee Press and have been hooked on working with my photos ever since. I love her style and I realized putting together digital pages fit my needs perfectly. I've also started my Project Life but altering it to a 8.5 x 11 format for a more manageable size, and keeping it very simple, with mostly photos and notes here and there and I'm having a blast doing it.
Now, I'm taking photos everyday, remembering and jotting down all the funny things that the kids say and do and capturing it. And do some silly doodling which they love.

Now that I have my studio back, I'm working on a shop update. I hope to have 4 birdies and a few dolls; stay tuned for more info. Have a great weekend!
